CFR is excited to host the 2022 West Tennessee TEEN THROWDOWN, our second iteration of this competition and the only comp in the Mid-South exclusively for teen age groups. The comp is programmed by 4-time CrossFit Games Competitor and Reveille Coach Gus Vandervoort. Athletes made the trip from as far as 500 miles away last year and this year will surely attract another fun group. Scaled division suitable for all intermediate CrossFitters. Rx will be a great test for competitive teens.

Box jump overs: Step down required off box. Both feet must touch top of box. Bench press: Must touch bar to chest, arms fully extended at top of rep, and hips in contact with the bench.

Snatch/OHS Complex Ladder 5 rounds:
Lift Every 2:00
Round 1) 1 snatch + 1 OHS
Round 2) 1 snatch + 2 OHS
Round 3) 1 snatch + 3 OHS
Round 4) 1 snatch + 4 OHS
Round 5) 1 snatch + Max OHS
Weight may be different each round. Athletes must change their own weights. Reps must be performed as a complex (without dropping the bar). If initial snatch is a squat snatch it does NOT counts as one of the OHS reps. Multiple attempts in each round permitted. Athlete must start the snatch within the 2:00 but may continue into the next round to complete the complex. An athlete missing the prescribed reps for a round will receive zero points and must advance to the rep scheme of the next round.
Example:
Rd 1. 125# x 2 reps (1 snatch + 1 OHS) = 150
Rd 2. 110# x 3 = 330
Rd 3. 95# x 4 = 380
Rd 4. 75# x 5 failed = 0
Rd 5. 45# x 9 = 405
Score = 150+330+380+0+405=1265lbs
