STRENGTH & CONDITIONING

During their last off-season session with us, 100% of AHS girls increased squatting and overhead pressing strength - gains averaged 24% over baseline.
General strength and conditioning plus sports-specific modalities and modifications for young softball players: shoulder protection and strengthening for throwing athletes, explosive core strength with core-to-extremity connection for throwing and batting, sprint and agility work for fielding and base path running. Prior lifting experience not required - girls will perform barbell, dumbbell, kettlebell and bodyweight lifts but only as heavy as their form will support. Then we'll improve their form and they'll lift more!
